Supporting Military Families
Our deployed military personnel are making a great sacrifice for their country. Our communities, businesses and non-profit organizations are doing an outstanding job of supporting them in this heroic effort. But, at the same time they serve in harms way, there are unique difficulties that families of military personnel on extended deployments are experiencing: inadequate health care, declining incomes and harassing creditors.
Our military families themselves have made a hidden sacrifice, quietly struggling to pay rent and mortgages and fending off creditors. It is time for us to step forward and provide the resources, money and help that these families both need and deserve. We provide the same type and quality of support that we are sending to their deployed loved ones. The essence of the VRC FamilyCenter is to provide quality of life assistance to the families here at home. This action directly supports the war effort, because when the family is taken care of, the service member can concentrate fully on the job at hand.
Our solution is the FamilyCenter, a community outreach program. This program provides support, resource access, problem resolution and assistance to the families of deployed and recently returned members and families of all services and components (Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard) by provided trusted service and support that fills gaps not covered by existing DoD programs.
